I found it intriguing, but I only picked up the last two issues. After paying full price (minus pull box discount) for both issues of RUINS as they came out, it'll be a long time till I find something I regret as much as that.

The ending, however, was I thought a proper endpiece to Starlin's Thanos, just as Abyss helped to finally achieve some finality with Adam Warlock. Achieving what, really, he's sought ever since he and Warlock first came into contact made me smile.

Having been one of the three readers of The Infinity Watch, I appreciated both. Maybe if looked at on that level the story holds up a little better.

I loved the Watch. just didn't like the fill-in artist (Dringenberg?) So, what happened to Warlock in the Abyss story?
