Couple of Ani-Men questions:

1. Who created them?, I remember they worked for Count Nefaria at one point. I think it was in a low 100's issue of Iron Man.

2. I know they appeared often early on in Daredevil, 1st appearance in DD's title?

3. I remember possibly an appearance in Marvel Team-Up?

4. The members were a cat, bird and gorilla?

And then some writer brought her into the Masters of Evil.

: First, to get the confusing stuff out of the way:

Whoa, thanks. I could never make heads or tails of the crew.

Probably some no-talent hack!

Anyway, so Dragonfly and Frog-Man are the only ones left at this point, right? I know the original Ape-, Bird-, and Cat-Man were killed together, and that the second ones were killed separately

And while I have you, may I say that I am awaiting JLA/Avengers with the enthusiasm, nay, mania, that most people usually reserve for Harry Potter?

At any rate, there apparently was a new one in Bendis' initial DAREDEVIL arc.

I thought that was Leap Frog.

Daredevil can never have too many frog themed villians.

Oh... Must have been confused because the initial Leap Frog's son became the second Frog-Man, or something... or whatever... help...?

Mea culpa, at any rate.

Well, there was Frog-Man from Spectacular Spider-Man and an issue of Defenders, who basically souped up his dad's old LeapFrog costume.

I agree though. Screw overwrought, angsty crime noir. Frog-based villainalia are what made Daredevil great!

Marvel: When in doubt, put a frog on the cover. Thor-Frog, anyone?

Is that anything like the 'tame black hole' that Stanley Kubrick used as a filing system (at least, according to Arthur Clarke)?
