Well, you get the idea. Wonder if the writers strike effected animated programs too?

With rights to produce a televised Spidey show switching to Sony, there is no new Spider-Man cartoons right now. A new 'cartoon' series (supposedly in CGI) is being created for 2002 that will coincide with next May's movie. Hopefully it won't be affected by a writers strike.

Uhhgg! I can't stand that CGI stuff! It works well for movies like Toy Story and Bugs life but I can't watch tv shows like Beast Wars or Action Man. I enjoyed the first season of the 1994 (actually it was delayed until 1995) Spider-man then it was kind of blah (2nd season wasn't too awful). Give me the 1960s show any day or the light-hearted comedy of Spider-man & his Amazing Friends over this new stuff. Too bad Marvel keeps cancelling their shows before they are supposed to be finished. The 1994 Spider-man was supposed to last another season (so that the whole MJ thing could be resolved) and obviously the Spider-man Unlimited was left as a cliff hanger. Silver Surfer got stuck that way too.
