Avengers continuity question circa #400

Prior to Avengers #400 Hercules and Deathcry took off for the Shiar Empire to solve the mystery of her origin.

Does anyone know if this story was ever told. The next appearance of hercules I can find is in the Hulk/Hercules oneshot in which Deathcry 'drops' herc back on earth.

I have recently reread my run of Avengers #2 through current and I can't find an answer.

It hasn't been addressed so far.

Good question. I can't think any of the second-tier Avengers series (like Avengers Unplugged) featuring a story about that, so I'd imagine it was never dealt with and his appearance in that Hulk 1-shot was just to get him back to normal events and leave that Deathcry thing in the past.......

I'm guessing that since she was a pointless and fairly uninteresting character that no one has bothered to address the question. Maybe she died over in New X-Men when Morrison shredded the Empire?
