Avengers/JLA

I saw the solicitation for this in the recent Westfield catalog. How many are picking it up? I'm skipping it. I saw some of the preview materials on it and it just really didn't excite me very much. Maybe I'm just weird...

Yes....you're weird. There is no way on God's green earth I would miss this. I still remember when the plans for the first fell through 20 years ago. I don't think there is any way possible this can be anything but great. So please, seek help, get therapy, and treat yourself to this series.

If you liked their work on Avengers, I think you'd like it. It's the same writer and artist. I'm not the biggest JLA fan, but even I'm excited about this project.

I'm waiting pretty much for the trade. I like Avengers every now and then, I like JLA every now and then, seeing them together is good, but not something I really want. Unless BP plays a big part, but he can't.

The trade will probably be released for Christmas 2004. The high-priced hardcover will come out first and expect at least 6-9 months after the HC before a trade comes out.

I was half thinking of waiting for the trade, but the geek side of me won't be able to wait, seeing how I doubt (unless luck smiles upon me) I will be able to afford the hardcover. And waiting until probably next summer for the TPB... yeah right. 20 years is long enough.

Course that could also mean I need to seek professional help (in fact I probably do).
