News? Last I heard they weren't going ahead with it. It's apparently an old script that one director said he wanted to do but then he changed his mind. Latest news is that there's a brand new Superman script (with Abram's previous script having been scrapped) based on the Death of Superman storyline.

Last I heard this was going to be released around the same time as Freddy vs Jason with the winners fighting each other at Wrestlemania 19
