Binding comics into hardcover

I stumbled across this site by accident. They basically take comics and bind them into hardcover books. This seems like a great way to preserve them. I was wondering what other folks here thought or if they had used these people before.

It looks great but I don't like the fact that the binding would be permanent. I myself want bind together story arcs in a way that could be undone. I remember once seeing binders with twelve vertical elastic strings instead of three vertical rings, so you could insert twelve magazines without damaging them. That was not the right size for comics though. Anybody knows if such a product is available for comics? Maybe with a variable number of strings (4, 6, 12...).
