Black Cat Spidey #4...out yet?

I dont have a comic store in my town, i get most of my issues via mail order in a large bundle ever few months but I picked up this series loose from a grocery store and wanted to know if the next issue came out..Also, i dont mind being spoiled if it has...was Black Cat raped or saved?

The world stills waits for #4 to come out..........or at least those who still care to wait for Kevin Smith comics anymore...

All order for issue #4 (and #5?) were canceled. This issue has not been resolicited yet, so the earliest you will be seeing it is March of next year. (Assuming it shows up in the next Previews.)

I wish I hadn't started the series and could have my $9.00 back. By the time the ending ships, my interests will definitely be elsewhere.

And I wish my store still had the first couple issues in stock at cover price. I bought the third during a small week and really liked it.

Not true. Several times in the past Marvel has resolicited comics in a future issue of Previews , but made the date of shipping before that months comics.

You might think so, but it never seems to do Kevin Smith's sales figures any harm. Surprising, but there you go.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, it happened to Daredevil a while back. Now he's returning to DD for a min? Hmmph! I'm not going to buy it. (To be fair, content-wise, I enjoy Kevin Smith's work... but man, I get so bugged by the time I actually get a book, that I'd rather read a treatise on ingrown toenails or something!)

'Spider-Man / Black Cat' was the first Kevin Smith series I've picked up. (I was out of comic collecting for about 10 years.) I think I'll wait for the trade paperback to pick up 'Daredevil: Target.'

I wouldn't be so quick to assume. The way that Kevin Smith has told this story so far has been rather unconventional; I wouldn't put it past him to have the story play out just as it's going.

I'm saying that the way the mini-series has played out so far has not been what I would consider conventional or cliched super-hero storytelling. So I would not be so quick to assume that Mr. Smith will take the conventional or cliched route in this situation. That is, I don't know that he will pull the superhero equivalent of a deus ex machina to save Black Cat from being raped.
