'Bullseye's skeleton is laced with the metal adamantium, the strongest metal known to man. This has left his body nearly indestructible with unbreakable bones.' ?

Since he is not a mutant with a healing factor how did he get the adamantium laced bones in the first place. Wouldn't they just make it impossible for him to move and how did he ever survive the surgery?

Not to mention the times during which Wolverine's had his adamantium and his healing factor's been turned off he's always displayed signs of massive metal poisoning and barely been able to stand. The two times he's been captured in Genosha for example.

I think Bullseye got his adamantium spine before the writers of X-Men/Wolverine decided that the bonding process would work on Wolverine only because of his healing factor, and that his body is always trying to 'cure' him of the adamantium.

I think that if writers are going to tell stories like that they should think about how it would affect other characters whose origins are linked in some way. 'Unrevealed information' shouldn't contradict what has been revealed, Nightcrawler and Mystique's new 'revelations' for example.

Question: Has Lady Deathstrike ever fought Bullseye? He would be just as guilty of 'stealing' her father's bonding process as Wolverine is.

I've always wondered the same thing. To my knowledge, she never fought Bullseye, even though Bullseye dishonored Darkwind by reneging on an agreement. I guess the writers don't like villain battles.

Agreed. The whole idea of adamantium poisoning is/was ludicrous, considering that due to adamantium's properties, it wouldn't react with anything in the human body.

She's never fought him, but she first appeared in DAREDEVIL, and it was stated that she was hunting down Bullseye.

The last i remember, his *joints* were laced with adamantium, i didn't think all of his bones were laced with it. But regardless, i believe he still has adamantium on his bones somewhere .

This actually brings up a question of mine...what does 'laced' mean exactly? When i think of laced i think of some thin strips of adamantium circling around the bones (e.g. the red stripes on a candy cane). However, it seems to be assumed that wolverine's bones are completely covered in adamantium. Any confirmations?

that changed that. However, while its made his bone's unbreakable, his body can be destroyed. Unlike Wolverine, Bullseye's tissues can't survive massive trauma. He's still suscceptible to a bullet, knife wounds etc.

I thought I had read that adamantium accelerated healing, and made Wolverine's healing factor even more potent. Of course, I think I read this about 8 years ago...
