was reading about Luke Cage's origin and thoughtthat a revamp would be awesome, especially in todays current comic climate (more grown up) and what with him being all over the place recently. TO ANY OF THE WRITERS WHO READ THIS GROUP: BRING THIS OUT!! Or at leats bring it to Mr Azzarello's or Bendis' attention.

And it really isn't a strech that there would be a man in the 'hood' with his origin, his black power mindset, his fight the system philosophy. Still relevant.

Agreed! And please do not ever let Brian Azzarello touch Cage again. His take on the character was almost as idiotic as it was racist. How Marvel allowed this version of the character to ever see the printed page is beyond me. The only possible explanation is that it was an elseworlds type character as it did not reference any other events in the real Marvel Universe.
