Reading the book Alias I keep going back and forth as to whose voice I hear as Jessica Jones and what she would look like if she were a real woman. Most of the time I think of Janeane Garofalo because I can really hear her owning Jessica's attitude and line delivery. http://www.eatingit.net/images/garofalo01.jpg

So I was looking for other ideas about Jessica Jones and the other inhabitants of the Alias comic. Jessica Jones Jessica Drew (who I hope turns up more often) Luke Cage Carol Danvers Scott Lang

If Yancy Butler was a better actress, I'd pick her. She has the look.

Jill Hennesy

Sam Jackson

Catherine Dent

Tough one... I'm not sure.

That's what happens when you give a good performance in a crappy show: people say you can't act. An object lesson for all actors: Sometimes unemployment is better.

Yancy was the only thing Witchblade had going for it...a really strong lead actress who could sell the flimsiest of material. Lookswise, I think Yancy is almost too thin/fit for Jessica. Jessica always seemed to have a more everyday shape to her. > I like Hennessey and could hear her voice saying 'Listen up bitchcakes' with just the right sound to it. They seem to go back and forth with Jessica being part asian (cant remember the details but I think there was an old Spiderwoman story that opened that door). Alias cover artist David Mack seems to have picked up on that with his depiction of Jessica Drew.

Cant see it. He he has the badass ability to play anyone but lacks the physicality needed for 'built like a brick sh*thouse' Luke Cage. I'd go with LLCoolJ or Ving Rhames.

Well I'd go with Jennifer Garner, Ron Rifkin, and Victor Garber.... Oh wait you mean the comic!

On that note I heard that they're considering doing a comic book based on the TV series. But since there's already an Alias comic what would they call it?

It was going to be called Alias: Agent Bristow, but last time I heard anything about it, Diamond had cancelled all orders. Rob Liefeld once again creates comic vaporware.

Surely that's better than when he creates actual comics, isn't it?
