Comic Book Villains movie

Has anyone watched a movie title Comic Book Villains with Michael Rapaport, Cary Elwes, and DJ Qualls?

Yep...it's written and directed by Starman writer James Robinson.

The film was on The Movie Channel yesterday and will repeat again Jan 17, Jan 25, Jan 26, and Jan 29 at various times.

It seemed a bit silly to me. The film maker was obviously inspired by the Coen Brothers and Kevin Smith, but towards the end the things these people did and why they did them just seemed to far fetched to be believable. I think there was some sort of moral there for fanboys warning them not to get so caught up in comics that they miss out on the real world, but I see any sane individual doing any of that stuff for some comic books.

Yes. It is okay. It is funny if you've ever been to a comic book store, but it is a very dark movie. I expected more laughs. Good acting, but depressing. I mainly watched it because James Robinson (Starman) directed and wrote the movie.
