Daredevil 2 Elektra

The article at the link above mentions that plans are underway for both Daredevil 2 and an Elektra movie. It mentions that the whole cast except for Colin Farrell has signed on for Daredevil 2.

I'm really not interested in seeing a solo Elektra movie, but Farrell should be signed for Daredevil 2. I would also like to see The Owl and.or Typhoid Mary used in the next Daredevil movie. The Scarecrow or Mr. Hyde would also be interesting.

I can see how they could (and should) bring back Bullseye but I thought it was quite obvious to me that Elektra was murdered. I know they tagged on a hopeful return with the braile necklace but I would think her death would be all over the news since her father was just assasinated and the police found her body. If not, wouldn't DD spend every waking minute trying to find her?

They would have a lot of explaining to do if she just showed up again. I also doubt she would have much use of her right hand anyway.

It was obvious in the comic as well. Oddly enough, there's somehow an Elektra series out there right now.

Any worse than Bullseye's hands? Looks like he's getting better.

IIRC in the comic the Hand somehow got ahold of her body and using their Ninja Juju (say that three times fast... Ninja Juju Ninja Juju Ninja Juju...) brought her back to life.

Maybe do that as a solo Elektra movie then bring her back in DD2.

She signed on with Fox reserving her option for a movie about Elektra as well as a DD sequel. If they do the Elektra movie first, they can bring her back there, and then write the DD sequel as though the trinket was proof she never died, despite the seemingly infallible evidence of her heart stopping when she was several minutes from medical attention.

Elektra could never carry her own film. At least not until Cap and the Fantastic 4 get theirs.

Oh, I don't know. I think I'd enjoy watching an Elektra movie. Heh.

At least they can explain Bullseye with the adamtanium(sp) they added to him in the comics.

Gotta wonder...........what would Frank Miller think about an Elektra comeback at this point (in either DD 2 or her own movie)?

Wonder? Seems to me Elektra:Assassin (8 Issue Epic limited series) and Elektra Lives (graphic novel) both took place post Daredevil 181 and were both scripted by Mr. Miller.

Quentin Tarantino is going to direct Daredevil 2. It's going to be called _Kingpin vs. Dolomite: Battle of the Pimpcanes_.
