DareDevil #45 (Spoliers)

Can you say Kingpin? Wow, that was one good story. Loved that line 'Thanks for crying' but I didn't understand it's meaning because I wasn't reading DareDevil through that story-arc. Can someone tell me what that was supposed to mean exactly?

No, you didn't. While the (Spoilers) in the Subject: line is appreciated, that's not the same as spoiler space. There are a fair number of newsreaders that automatically show a reader the first 'page' of a post. Thus, it's considered courteous to also insert spoiler space, as well as spoiler warnings. In general, around 24 blank lines of spoiler space is considered acceptable.

Worked for me. In fact, I saw that the subject was 'Daredevil #45,' checked the number on the issue I had just bought (I can never keep track on my own), realized that I hadn't read the book yet, and *didn't read the post.* I know this might not be obvious to a lot of people, but it really works.

Not if message headers are long enough to scroll the header off the top of the screen.

Well, not to turn this thread away from the oh-so-rare discussion of spoiler space, but I took it to mean that Silke was bawling like a wet baby at the sight of Kingpin. But it'd have to be off camera. The art didn't really reflect it well.

Saying that, while I like the generally moody flavor Maleev has given Daredevil, this issue shows his style can't convey a fight scene to save his life. Very static....no energy to the fight with the Owl at all.

Still, I think this may have been my favorite Bendis DD issue yet.
