It is released 30 June 2003 here in the states as well. Woolworth's is either mistaken or they are getting it late.

Well one guy posted in here that X2 came out on Wednesday last week in Spain two days before the US so who knows. The inner workings of movie studios will always be a mystery.

Same thing in France. Saw the film on the wednesday it came out. Over here, films come out on wednesdays, whereas they come out on fridays in the US. We should be getting MATRIX RELOADED on a Friday as you will, but that's the exception rather than the rule.
