Hello all...

I saw the DD movie this weekend, and really liked it. Having not read the comic growing up, I hope someone will answer a few questions for me :

1.) Is DD's enhanced hearing really a weakness, et al kryptonite to Superman?

2.) Does he sleep in a water chamber, to mute out external sounds?

It has been, particularly when chasing Bullseye into a subway. That encounter in the comics was very similar to the encounter with Quesada in the movie, but his radar was almost useless, and he wouldn't let Bullseye die on the tracks. See 'Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller Vol. 2' for the details.

My limited exposure to Daredevil doesn't reveal if he sleeps in a sensory deprivation chamber or not.

In a story around 1982 or so, DD was exposed to radiation which made his super senses even stronger. He spent some time in a water chamber until things got back to normal.
