Is this meant to be bi-monthly?
I don't know that I'm going to pick up issue two, the regular DD is much better read, and Ultimate DD and Elektra is better too, a first class comic fashioned out of scenes of three girls talking to each other. It might be a Smith thing, I'm not the biggest fan of his films, and I thought whoever drew MM in the Target made him look like something from the Island of Doctor Moreau. Especially that scene where he's hammering the punching bag.
('DON'T GET OUT MUCH' ALERT. And his punching is crap, too. I don't have the issue with me, but I think he's hitting the bag with the front of his hand. Picky picky, but it looks wrong, like he can't box. It's not like there's a shortage of pictures of how boxers hit bags. Some martial arts* do it, but it's pretty rare, and I doubt it's as common or as effective as 'normal' punching. To me, Matt's primarily a boxer).
Plus I can believe that a man can fly, I can believe in super-senses and unstable molecule clothing and some guy who's had his bones hollowed out stil walking around, but I could not believe someone non-superpowered throwing a tooth-pick through two closed windows. To me that seemed the kind of thing that only Superman or the Hulk could do.
