I've been thumbing through some back issues and rereading stories featuring Doc Doom. You know, if anyone, this guy is in need of a serious update. His uniform may be 'classic' but it is also very tired and silly compared to the new 'realistic' Marvel. I'd like to see him in a new amour and threads. Are there any stories that feature changes to his look or powers?

He received a nice update from Walter Simonson, but they didn't stick with that for very long.

I wonder why they didn't stick with that also.That was one of the last few stories I read before I quit comics for a few years.To me,it came across as the ultimate Doombot tale.Doesn't Walt imply that the 'real'Doom was away since the 60s or something like that?

Did anyone one think that the arm Anakin was given in the last scene of Attack of the clones bore a resemblance to Dooms?
