According to my price guide, 34.

My price guide also informs me, bizarrely, that issues #26, #28 #30 and #32 featured the ludicrous double-bill of Cerebus by Dave Sim and Galactus by John Byrne. The mind boggles. Not just that Marvel would publish Cerebus AT ALL, but that they'd put it in a double-bill with John Byrne's Galactus...

How many pages long was each chapter? Maybe Marvel should get Byrne to finish it and publish it as GALACTUS: THE END. Yeah, it's a long shot, but with Avengers/JLA finally being done, it feels like anything's possible. 8)

About 8 pages per chapter, with one or two of them being double length, IIRC. It was a pretty fast read, without much happening in each chapter. Kind of like modern Marvel comics, now that I think about it.

At the time, Byrne said he didn't feel right finishing it because he was no longer the FF writer and therefore didn't 'control' Galactus anymore. If Marvel and Byrne were getting along, it would seem like a good fit to do Galactus: The End, but given the current state of affairs, I wouldn't hold my breath.
