Final Crisis: Requiem #1, A Comics You Can Do Without
I wasn’t a big fan of the final crisis. If anything I might say that I found this brilliant description of the first issue by Optimous Douche to be quite accurate in regards to many of the DC new comics
When I had finished reading the first issue of the highly-anticipated FINAL CRISIS, I felt the same way I did after I had lost my virginity in the back of a senior’s car when I was ahem-teen years old (forgive me for being elusive, but my Mother reads this column). It was an event I had built up in my mind to be the “end-all-be-all” of existence, but after two-and-a-half minutes of awkward coitus my paramour and I were both left the over-arching feeling of “that’s it?”
I don’t know how much more DC plans to extract from her old stories and recycle old stuff in new covers so as to sells a few more covers.
It has come to the point that even someone who is usually fond of DC comics like Don MacPherson recommends his readers to save their money and avoid buying the Final Crisis: Requiem #1.
I’m certainly ready for something fresh, new, creative and fun and I hope the people there in DC are listening.

How about reading it first you Marvel Apologizing douche?

I actually liked Requiem, but then I’m a sap for a good Martian Manhunter story. I also liked how it fleshed out the death of J’onn becasue I was pissed about it being such a side note in FC. Now if the rest of FC could start delivering the same heart, my faith might be restored in Dido.
