Even later than normal, thanks to getting my taxes done and a harsh reminder of the 285th Rule of Acquisition! Please forgive any more errors than normal, as it was done while dodging a one-year-old who seems to like PowerBooks.

Things are coming together in G.I. Joe while people are coming apart in Queen & Country. Plus, familiar goings on in Robotech, weird science in Action Comics, quiet denouements in Alias and Daredevil, chessmanship in The First, Time Travel 101 in Karza and more.

Comments, questions and concerns are always welcome.

I think Bendis is incapable of writing anything *but* quiet denouments. He couldn't give us an exciting climax even if everyone in the story died.

Mmm ... I dunno. I seem to remember being pretty surprised at that Sam & Twitch story where Twitch's wife got shot. The second arc of Powers was a jolt ending, IIRC. I do believe you're right, in that he prefers to end on a quiet note and not a bang. It just really leapt out to me because two multi-part storylines ended in what I considered less than thrilling ways in the same week.
