Has anyone noticed that Hawk-owl, from ultimate Adventures, is a rip-off of Owlman from the Grant Morrisson Jla: Earth 2. Owl Man was an alternate version of Batman in the book, but did anyone else spot the resemblance?

Owlman is much older than Grant Morrison's writing career. But if you really want to be shocked, take a look at the original Squadron Supreme lineup and see if they resemble any major DC super-hero team. Most people know that the SS is a Justice League knock off but I'm guessing you might not be aware.

The Squadron Supreme are from a Marvel alternate universe. They had direct analogues to Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, Zatanna, Hawkman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, and probably others I'm not remembering right now. During the Squadron Supreme 12 issue mini series there was some attempt to make them individuals in their own right by introducing characters who were not based on the JLA.
