Hi everybody! I'm new to the group so i thought i might ask some question...
The Amazing Spider-Man #1 was the first ever issue. Today, there are other series like Peter Parker and the new amazing series. so my question is.... Do these series are new begining? or is it continuing from 1963? thats a question that bothers me... I ask it all the time and people tell different opinions.
Thanks, Venom

For what I know there are various comics of Spider-Man now:
Amazing Spider-Man The first relaunch started 34 issues ago. The latest issue is #34, but actually it's #475
Peter Parker: Spider-Man Same as with Amazing #34 is actually #132
Tangled Web I don't get this series, what is it a parody or something?? Completely new as far as I know.
Ultimate Spider-Man They're at #13 now.
All these comics tell different stories and aren't linked to each other, they formerly did once in a while though.

Peter Parker: Spider-Man, I thought that was the same as Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man, but it would be much farther than #132? And what happened to Web of Spider-Man, was that line dropped?

Peter Parker the Spectacular Spider-Man and Web of Spider-Man met their demise near the end of the clone saga. The two remaining titles were then re-booted with the numbers beginning with issue #1. Somewhere around issue #30 they decided to start incorporating the original numbering from Vol.1 of both titles. (presumably to make old-timers happy about ASM reaching #500 someday)
