I am up to about 65-70 per month. Including mini's and one-shots.

I'm at about 75 right now, but I'll be adding on a couple more with October's solicits. Might even itself out though, since I'm planning on dropping 6-7 more titles shortly though.

I usually vary between 35 and 50 a month, and that's counting mini's, one-shots and even extra copies that I might get from time to time.

Ouch!!! Where are you buying your comics that they cost that much? I go to Comic Kingdom in Sydney and the average price is just over $5 AUS, which roughly equates to $3-4 US.

You have my sympathies.

These days, usually 5-6 per month, but never more than 10. Any more than that and living with my wife might be hard.

I sued to buy 45-55 a month, then as cover prices started to rise, I tailed off, then a few years ago, when the glut of multi part crossovers, die cut covers and prism covers took over, I essentially stopped cold turkey. X-Men #300, with the heavy stock prism cover for $4.00 was the last straw. I always thought it what was between the covers that counted...not the fancy price boosting covers. I peeked at the Liefeld Avengers and Captain America and quickly stepped away. Thank God for Perez and Busiek. Their run on Avengers was superb and that is just about the only thing I have bought in the last few years. I have tried to get interested in other titles but as an old school fan (I'm 45) I just don't see a lot out there that interests me any more. Naturally I will be buying JLA/AVENGERS, but I just don't have the drive to get back into it like I have in the past.

I get 20 regular titles,between 1 and 5 one-shots/prestige, and one or two trades a month.

This month was particularly bad for me since I also am buying the Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon gns. Excellent.

I used to get about 25 but now its closer to 30 since I started collecting the X-Men which I said I never would as collecting X-Men comics is rather like buying a franchise.

Well we've covered 'how do you store them', 'how much do you spend', and now 'how many do you buy' (with 'creators vs characters' bearing a slight connection). What's next - cash or credit card?

Exactly. I would be happy to have my comics arrive later if it meant cheaper prices.
