ageru ga rec.arts.comics.marvel.universe no naseke!

I found the art to be absolutely horrible, a serious cramp to my overall impression of what I saw.

After checking out this and the other Tsunami previews, I'm glad I don't buy any Marvel stuff anymore (I read the Ultimate stuff, but someone else buys it). It's like everything's just turning into a soap, with super powers in the extreme distance. I watch tv for the former. I read comics for the latter. Or did.

Are there any super-villains in any of the Tsunami line previews or are they too 'old-skool' for the kids to like?

Lessee...

Mystique (despite sitting on the hero-villain fence) presumably counts as a villain, and has her own book. Preview is available but I didn't bother reading it. I never liked her much anyway, and the fact it's probably just some cheap T and A doesn't increase my interest.

Sentinel has, uh, a Sentinel. *shrug* Hi Iron Giant-tsuu.

The parents in 'Runaways' are supposed to be supervillains, but knowing NuMarvel they'll just be the senior staff of DC or something with a plot to take over Marvel.

Couldn't hurt, mayhap...
