That's why his current run is so good. It shows the perils of power.

Im a Thor afficondo! but even I agree the current arc is not that crash hot, the artwork is, well, I don't really like it that much, and the plot is gettin dangerously cultish, I reckon if you want that, read Strange, or whatever.

and what are they doing to him in Ultimates! argh, all I can say is they better have him thrashin supes in the crossover!

I prefer the Ultimates Thor, if only as a foil for Ultimates Cap.

I read the recent issue, and the Absorbing Man coming as a penitent ... that was hella hokey. I'm not so sure they can pull this one off ...

Personally, I'm not buying that penitent angle yet. But if Creel and Loki enter into whole-hearted alliance with Thor, get into positions of influence, and bring Asgard to peril, it would at least be more interesting than the earlier foreshadowings of Balder the Brave and Jake Olson staging a rebellion.
