I need advice

I recently got back into comic books and noticed a lot of new titles, and was wondering if anyone had any recomendations for me. I really like books with religous themes (ie deamons, angels, biblical refrences, not nessisarily christian) but am not a real fan of the police drama. If anyone knows of anything I might like, I'd apreciate a response.

Well a series that just ended after 6 years called 'Preacher' might fit the bill It was one of the better written comics of the last decade and is out in compilations.
