If theres a Spider-Man 3...who should be the villain?

Ok...the Spider-Man movie is likely to be a blockbuster, and I'm sure they'll make at least one sequel.

And I think that its obvious that Doc Ock would be the villain for Spidey 2. So...if there's a third, who would you like to see?

I think that Venom would translate to film very well. The symbiote is taylor made for CGI since is doesn't have to look super real. Of course, his origin would have to be redone.

i hope no Venom... NOT YET..many foes to fight before that needs to come into play. DO NOT CHANGE VENOM's ORIGIN

Not unless it's flashback material, but that means Peter Parker/Spider-Man would have to become a very developed character to make any sense....meaning Venom would not be ready to show up with only two prior films. I agree, the origin would have to change somewhat. I don't necessarily agree with it, it's just the most practical solution if they would bring Venom into a film. The symbiote could still be Spidey's first black costume, but a lot of story would be shortened and altered to make it work for the movies.

why does he hate Spidey, why does he blame Spidey, why does he not set off Spidey's SS......

This is true and no one is debating that, but guess what, WE WANT TO SEE VENOM IN THE MOVIE. The secret wars stuff WAS utter crap, and you will probably hate the spider-man movie if you are so adament about everything being verbatim from the comics. We are not changing venoms origin (jilted symb. finds jilted rival) so all the animosity is still there, we are simply stating that in order for the symb. itself to have a semi-reasonable origin we have to forgo the secret wars and make up something that isn't so damned

I think that there is some dispute over who owns the movie rights to the Venom character. I dont know how but I did read somewhere the it would be difficult to bring Venom to the screen anytime too soon because of legal hassles. So....
