I just read on Newsaskew (Kevin Smith news site, although the article originally comes from Newsarama, acomic news site owned by Kevin) today that Kevin Smith and Quesada were talking, and they came to the conclusion that Kevin won't be getting Amazing, because they both know it's very unlikely that he would keep schedule on it, so instead, JMS will stay on Amazing and Kevin will get a new book, as opposed to the opposite that they originally announced. I for one whole-heartedly agree with this, because as I much as I love Kevin's work, movies, comics, whatever, I'm sure he would have been late, and also they mention his stories will be controversial, which, although is no surprise, would not fit well in Marvel's flagship title, especially one that I'm sure kids gravite towards. So, there ya go.

Which is kind of ironic considering that JMS probably has an even heavier movie/TV schedule than Kevin Smith
