Sorry for cross-posting, but these places seem to be the most frequent comic-groups on the net... Here goes.

As a kid I had a science fiction comic that I liked. Unfortunately, I lost it after just reading it a few times... I've been thinking of it from time to time, and I would really like to know the name of it. This is a _really_ long shot, but anyway...

The comic is probably from the first half of the 80s and perhaps children-oriented (10 yrs or so)... It was drawn in a quite 'realistic' style.

I remember that there was a 'gang' of a few people that traveled hyperspace to get to a place where some evil things were going on. The spaceship looked like a long 'tube' that were 'shot out' from a mothership. If i remember correctly it resembled a TV-antenna somewhat... The 'gang' was hibernated while traveling with the ship.

They went to a place were there was a big tower in the middle of a swamp. They went in spaceships/hovercrafts to get to the tower. I think that there were some kind of machine that had went crazy inside of it...

The only part of the comic I recall fairly clear is one part inside the tower where a female is climbing a ladder (probably leading to some sort of command central), and around her there were strange metal spheres interconnected by lots of cables. The spheres were 'intelligent' and moving, and two of them tried to catch her but smashed into the ladder (or into each other) just below her.

I would *really* be impressed of someone could get anything out of this at all

Regards!

Is this in the US or elsewhere? If it's not US only would it perhaps be linked to the Ulysses 31 cartoon? I don't know of a comic for sure, but it did feature a spaceship that looked like a TV aerial (Kind of), a bunch of people in suspended animation and people zooming around on hoverscooters.

Probably completely wrong, but you never know

For some reason the name 'Seeker 3000' is also crawling through my brain..... All I recall is that it was a generational ship with a small crew and a lot of people in hibernation. One of the main characters was a telepath who had a tattoo on her face to mark her out as a psi.

Being that you seem to be European (Sweden, right?), you are probably thinking of the Yoko Tsuno album 'Tvillingsolarna', where the exact thing that you refer to happens. This actually also exists in a U.S. edition from Comcat Communications, titled The Adventures of Yoko, Vic & Paul #2: The Three Suns of Vina.

Wow!! Yes - doing some searches on Google I see that this is the album! I never thought that there was a remote chance at all that someone could nail this one. Thanks a lot.

Now I just need to get hold of a copy again...

Internet is truly amazing...

I saw the English language version here in England a couple of weeks back in a comic shop. If you can't get it anyway else, I can probably still get it (It's not a _busy_ comic shop)
