Hi!

The other day I got the bid for the issues #1 through #5 of 'Spiderman: Chapter One' - it's the first Spiderman comic I've ever read and I think it's really good.

Anyways, now I'm looking for the issues #6-#12. So, is here anybody who wants to sell them or who knows a place where I can get them (not too expensive) ? I live in Germany, so I can't bid for a lot of ebay.com auctions, since they only ship to the USA.

And I've got one more question - do you know whether there is a reprint of the 'AMAZING SPIDERMAN' series? I couldn't find one on the Internet, but I'd really like to start reading those - the problem is, that the first issues (#1, etc) are REALLY expensive )

Thanks for your help!!

You can get black and white reprints of Amazing Spider-Man in book format, each book covers about 20 issues and so far they are up to volume 5.

The B&W books are called The Essentials - Essential Amazing Spider-Man in this case, and you should be able to get them from any comic book store or Amazon.com.

There are various reprint titles out there (in colour), and I think Marvel Tales was one of them. I've crossposted to rec.arts.comic.marvel.universe for more reprint info.

Good suggestions all....and if you're actually liked Chapter One, which was, shall we say, not very popular, you'll LOVE the originals.

Anyway, you might also want to check for Marvel Masterworks, that reprint the original issues in hardcover of the various Marvel titles. And if you're lucky, you may be able to find some original pocketbooks that had the early Spidey issues (as well as some other Marvel titles). They're what got me started as a kid....

Hmmm, mostlikely your opinion will change after reading the missing issues...

What a pity, I would have sold you the whole run if you had asked here earlier.

Nevertheless I can look around here in Düsseldorf. I'm convinced that there is at least one comicshop which can help you out.

The b&w tpbs lack nothing but color and are highly recommended.
