My newstand sells the marvel knights books (punisher, elektra, daredevil), I leave these out of my folder to have something to read inbetween comic shipments. Yet the newstand versions never have a number, the box for the number is their, but it is blank. Whats up with this?

Either it's a printer error for the newsstand copies, or this is some bizarre Marvel policy...

I'd have to go with 'bizarre Marvel policy'. This has been going on for atleast two years.
