There were several such books, but they didn't sell.

Marvel would probably be better advised to use their resources for something new, rather than trying to shove a dead franchise down people's throats.

: buying Marvels altogether, as they were crap packaged inside embossed : metallic glow-in-the-dark novelties.

They're not increasing the cover price because of it, so I don't see how it's supposed to be a big deal. They can sell their books with salad bowls, umbrellas and slippers, for all I care, as long as I don't have to pay for them.

Did I say otherwise? My problem is with the gimmick packaging. I'd rather see the stories themselves being the attraction.

I don't know about those guys, but when you live in Florida, heat waves and thunderstorms go hand in hand.

I am, but it's interrupted by a rainy thunderstorm about once a week.

Same here (Germany). Weather experts say that in order for August to become a 'normal' month statistically we would need an average 10 degrees Centigrade for the rest of the month.

<sweat>

Weather forecasts say that it will getting 'cooler' soon. Meaning just 'pretty darn hot' instead of 'heat record every day'.

Seven days of rain. This is what I want *right now*. On second thought, maybe not. Exactly one year ago we had the biggest floods since decades.
