: buying Marvels altogether, as they were crap packaged inside embossed : metallic glow-in-the-dark novelties.
They're not increasing the cover price because of it, so I don't see how it's supposed to be a big deal. They can sell their books with salad bowls, umbrellas and slippers, for all I care, as long as I don't have to pay for them.

Midwest and Pacific USA is in a crazy heatwave, and then we got news that in Paris, a bunch of folks died due to heat.

Same here (Germany). Weather experts say that in order for August to become a 'normal' month statistically we would need an average 10 degrees Centigrade for the rest of the month.
<sweat>
Weather forecasts say that it will getting 'cooler' soon. Meaning just 'pretty darn hot' instead of 'heat record every day'.
Seven days of rain. This is what I want *right now*. On second thought, maybe not. Exactly one year ago we had the biggest floods since decades.
