From Newsarama:

'MARVELS: EYE OF THE CAMERA COMING IN EARLY 2004 'While some saw DC's litany of exclusive announcements and projects at San Diego as a sign that Marvel was on the ropes, however, a 'counter-offensive' of sorts has begun, if you buy into that theory. Marvel has announced a 2004-shipping sequel to one of it's most acclaimed projects of the last decade: Marvels, with Kurt Busiek at the helm.'

Wow, Marvels is amazingly retro-continuity heavy for a New Marvel project.

Agreed.

I can't believe it's been ten years since MARVELS came out already. I guess that's (yet) a(nother) sign of getting older. That means I can celebrate RUINS' tenth anniversary by burning my copies. (I can't imagine much other use to get out of them.)
