Let's say that the success of JLA/Avengers prompts DC and Marvel to create a new Superman/Spider-Man team-up project.
1.) Who would you want to write it? 2.) Who would you want to handle the art? 3.) What format would you want? (four issue limited series, tabloid sized edition, graphic novel, etc)? 4.) What villains would you want to see? 5.) What other heroes, if any, should appear?
I would like to have Peter David or Grant Morrison write the project. John Romita Jr. or Jerry Ordway would be good picks for the art. A four issue limited series with two issues from each company would work best, but for old times sake maybe each company could produce a tabloid sized special with each combining to tell one huge story.
I think Bizarro and Venom or The Green Goblin and Luthor should be the

Nope. You said you didn't like that idea because it had been done to death and you wanted to see something new. Then when pressed to mention something new you mentioned only projects that have already been done.
I never said I wanted something new. I said I wanted Superman/Spider-Man, and I don't care that they had two of them 25 years ago.
So now you need to go into your room and don't come out until you think of something original that hasn't already been done, that would be a worthwhile project.

Blah! Blah I say! I never feel like I'm getting my money's worth with 48 pagers. Make it 64 and I'm sold.
I DO like the Stern/Priest team up idea though. Them writing with MD Bright on artwork, now there's a book I'd buy, even if it was only 48

Yep. The Aquaman and Sub-Mariner battle was several pages in length, while the DC Captain Marvel vs. the Marvel Captain Marvel was reduced to about a panel or two. The Marvel Captain Marvel was the current version with his first costume (standard jacket and tights).

If it was 48 pages, I would want one from each company. For Marvel's Spider-Man/Superman I would be interested in seeing Bendis write it with art by Bagley. For DC I would go with Roger Stern and Jerry

Sure, I'd go with 64 pages, but only with good writers and a good editor to make sure it isn't simply too much filler/padding.
Bright's a perfect choice for that writing team, and for those

I would pretty much do it just the way that you suggest, though I don't know about the choice of villians! How about Lex Luthor and The King Pin?
