If the big-budget FF movie is going to be made the way the screenwriter and director want it, it will be an even bigger joke than the previous one.

Green Lantern rights have been sold, and it's in very early pre-production. A script for Plastic Man was written by the Wachowski brothers, best known for their work on The Matrix, and it can be found on Drew's Script-O-Rama. (I wasn't thrilled by it, but I don't really know the character.)

Casting rumours about Fantastic Four and Ghost Rider are also out. (It looks like Nicholas Cage has beaten Johnny Depp for the Ghost Rider role, which is one of the few super hero roles I can picture him in.) Ray Park, aka Darth Maul from Star Wars and Toad from X-Men, has already been officially cast as Iron Fist.

I would not like to see him in that movie, as I just feel he has a tendency to over-act, and it being a comic book movie he might take it as an excuse to do his trademark over-acting. In all honesty, I think they should get a lesser known, like Ang Lee did with the Hulk in Eric Bana, who, IAH I had never heard of until Black Hawk Down, or x-men did with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, who got the offer after another actor turned it down for MI2, but even so they did not go with another big name and chose wisely.

That's almost right. The villain in MI2 agreed to do both, but when he broke his collar bone his filming on MI2 was delayed to the point that he couldn't meet the X-Men start date. Hugh Jackman was a very last minute casting, so much so that Jackman forgot his passport when he flew to Canada to audition. He told the security guy that he was in a rush because he had to audition for the part of Wolverine in less than 12 hours for the X-Men movie, so the security guard traded access to the country for an autograph, since his younger brother was a big Wolverine fan.

As a Canadian citizen, I hope that security officer lost his job for such a major security breach.

Maybe the moviemakers could compensate for that by returning CA to his Silver Age self

Y'know, with the current popularity of spy films that someone in Hollywood would option Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD for the big-screen.
