As an 'old school' reader (meaning 20 years or so)....
Oh, I dunno about that. At least there isn't Rich Buckler tracing Kirby, Adams, Buscema......I like the fact that there isn't a house style anymore. Of course that means a lot of art that is, well, awful. But I do like the different stylings of Quitely, Kordey, and Maleev so, I'm happy.
Well, yeah, it's not much of a line right now. I do like Alias generally, I almost bougth Cage because of Corben but decided against it. Apache Skies looks good, though. All the line is doing is trying to replicate some of their more interesting titles from the Seventies anyway. Yawn.
Lateness doesn't bother me too much. I hated the 'dreaded deadline doom' nonsense and now that comics are 3.75 a pop here I'd rather buy one by the 'real' creative team than some lousy thing that's been sitting in an editor's desk for three years.
