I just picked up the latest issue of Black Panther (which is a fantastic read, by the way), but if I was going by the cover, I wouldn't have! What a terrible painting. It doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the story, character, or style of the book! Who was the brilliant mind at Marvel that gave the go-ahead for this thing???
I did take a pass on the cover's image when i went looking for the week's books, which was odd, since every possible way I can pump up attention for BP I've tried to do. I just thought that image was, as they say, 'bastard ugly.'
The story ... had some nice touches. I'm glad it's over, and I'm interested in seeing what's next. I still think Kasper is pretty much a dumbass, and it seems like T'Challa agrees. Hh.
It wasn't that bad to me. Eh oh well. Was the guy in the mask that killed Tork, Kasper's father. I know K's father is the head of all things. But I just wasn't sure on that point.
