aww-its cold here too-but sure not as cold as MI!! Int he other ng rec.arts.comicbook.marketplace the guy who responded to you about what you'll end up getting is unfortunately right-youll end up getting about 5 cents each if you are lucky from a dealer of any sort-most individuals will want to pick thru-and if they buy the whole lot you might get twice that-the only way to make a decent amount is to sell them one by one on ebay or as small lots, which will involve listing fees and a large amount of time. Im interested in them myself, but as far as what I would offer-i dont know..a sight unseen lot will also impede your profits as most dealers wont travel for a lot that small, and they wont offer you anything first because they havent seen the lot....know what I mean? I collect for my son so I know how frustrating it is to watch all the money you spent and the comics you love come down to haggling!!

also-yes i have an idea of how much space 20-3000 comics takes up 4-6 times as much space as my collection takes up now And im a very organized mommy-all my books are bagged, boarded and boxed numerically, alphabetically then put into my comic base software-they are also insured

You can also try http://www.comicspriceguide.com, they maintain a good price guide that is frequently updated or buy an Overstreet price guide-about $15-20 depending on bookstore for good general grading. PS-I have a 45,000 comic collection.
