Question for the group about shipping of comics

I recently purchased approximately 200 X-Men comics off Ebay. What would 'you' recommend for shipping? Priority or Media rate? What about insurance? Priority cost $58.70 while Media rate is only $12. Which is safer? or is it just dependent on how they are packaged? TIA.

If you ship via media rate and the box gets lost for some reason you have no way of tracking it to fidd out where it was last.

That's not true. You can buy a tracking number for a package shipping media rate for about forty cents or so. You can also insure the package or get delievery confirmation or signature confirmation.

Media is a lot slower than the other rates, but it's much cheaper. You can ship 250 comics (about 37 pounds) Media Rate for about $13. Priority Mail would cost over $30. If you are willing to wait a week or two longer to get the comics, then media rate will save you a lot of cash.

Thanks for the input. MEdia with insurance seems the way to go.
