Yeah, if I were gay, I'd be angry that Marvel seems to want to work in sterotypes. It looks more like an insult than a legit venture.
Give me a break.

Well, I can't say the notion of Zimmerman handling the concept is promising, but I'm willing to give it a look as a longtime fan of John Severin. I'm hoping that any project he's involved in wouldn't be too godawfully LCD. We'll see, and then we'll know...

Dear god, look at what you just said. I believe it is definitely working in stereotypes. Did you see the publicity pic of him blowing on his gun?
That is your perogative. I know neither of us speak for all gay people. I am not gay, but I find the suggested ideas to be stereotypical and offensive.
The whole concept is suppose to be camp. Did you read about the Lone Ranger comment? The guy wrote for Howard Stern for crying out loud. I think that is a good idea of what you should expect.
If he uses
It is set in the old west and I'm sure the comment 'I'm packing' will be in there somewhere.
I guess I'd
Be afraid, be very afraid. Marvel is so 1980's that it is scarey. I'd hate to see them actually deal with this character in a mature way. As it states, camp will be the route they will go. So, 'rawhide' will be a

We should be so lucky. Robert Smiegel's 'AGD' on SNL is hysterically funny because of it's self-consciousness of being over-the-top, and because of the gap between Ace and Gary's cluelessness and the other characters' knowledge, which parallels the viewers' knowledge. That's a pretty sophisticated comedic structure for a cartoon skit, relatively speaking, and it's far more sophisticated than anything we've seen from Zimmerman thus far.
