It's fairly Spidy related, I guess. Kevin Smith announced at Marvel's panel discussion at Comic Con in San Diego that his next project is going to be Black Cat for Marvel. I'm guessing it's going to be a Marvel Knights imprint...

The story was at http://www.comicscontinuum.com:81/stories/0107/22/index.htm

'Kevin Smith appeared during the middle of the Marvel Comics press conference at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Saturday, announcing that he will be writing a Black Cat series.

Smith worked with Marvel editor-in-chief Joe Quesada on Daredevil and has enjoyed similar success with DC Comics' Green Arrow. Quesada had approached Smith about writing in the Spider-Man world.

'We talked about Black Cat, and I think it's really going to be pretty special,' Quesada said. 'It's been a while since a female really held a top spot in comics, and I think if anybody's going to do it, it's this guy. He's got the momentum.'

'I'm going to try and make her a little less of the Marvel Universe Catwoman and turn into something else,' Smith said.

Smith said there would probably be a one-shot with Spider-Man before launching the Black Cat series.'

If it's as good as he did with Daredevil and is doing with Green Arrow, it should kick ass.
