Spider-girl 1-32 plus 0 & 1/2 on Ebay.

but it's only at 20 bucks!!! This says a lot more about the character's lack of appeal than most of my bashers ever could.

Sheepishly hiding my face in embarrassment. I guess I overestimated the character's appeal.

You're kidding, right?

Comics on eBay are commonly sold like this. Would you rather pay full cover price (or worse still, guide price) for those comics, or something cheaper? And more importantly, if you were the seller, would you risk paying higher fees to charge a higher price and then have no one bid and win; or risk starting low, pay lesser fees, and having 1 or 2 bidders raise the price way up?

I've seen (and sold) similar bundles of comics on eBay, of characters much more 'popular' than Spider-Girl.

I picked up runs on Avengers, Thor, Captain America, and Fantastic Four this way. Most modern comics are simply not 'worth' the cover price charged for them. It has been this way ever since I've been reading comics in the 70s.

Buy what you like and you'll never go wrong.

I don't think that means much. It could just be that someone wants to unload them and isn't concerned about making a lot of money on the

Well, the winning bid was 55 bucks which ain't bad for 32 really recent comics. Still seems like a low price to me.

There's absolutly no buzz on this book at all, there hasn't been since its debute. It's a retro book, you could read Essential Spider-man instead and get much of the same thing.

The Spidergirl book builds immensely on the Vol. 1 spiderman books.

This is the only Marvel book I still buy. I dropped Ultimate Spidey because I was becoming bored with the pacing. I think Spidergirl is far better(as far as pacing, anyway) than Ultimate Spiderman. That's just my opinion.
