According to Tom D.'s post on Comicboards.com 's Spider-girl page, spider-girl has been extended through AT LEAST issue 74!

Hopefully, it will continue on for years and years after that, too, but it is safe for now.

I guess the fans' response to the price increase (sales went up!?!) was considered good enough by the Marvel bean counters.

If you're not already reading Spider-girl, now is a perfect time.

I'm reading. I'm liking. I'm continuing.

This is great news. That's a considerable continuation too, as Tom D. mentioned they'd reevaluate the series' future after this current arc, but I guess sales were good enough to keep it going.

Well, it's 7 more issues, since the current storyline runs through issue 66, and they assumably would have gotten to publish their last issue even if the book had been axed.

An odd number. I wonder if they've got a seven part storyline in the works, or a four and a three.

The book that would not die!

This is good news. I've been a reader since no. 1. It's just too bad Fan Five didn't fare so well.

I'd wager it'll surely hit #75... as a double size issue!
