Spider man and Black cat #4

Dont forget about this one folks. Dont let them let a damn good story slip through the cracks, especially with such a %*@#()& cliffhanger. Has anyone heard anything else about this since the series got delayed or did they just chicken out with the whole possible rape of black cat scene.

Smith menitoned that he's working on the conclusion now, and afterwards he will do Daredevil: The Target.

I hope he doesn't wear himself out.

The plot for Daredevil: Target is allegedly finished, and has been sent out to a different artist (since the original one understandably got bored waiting and took other work).

What does the above statement have to do with the Spider-Man/Black Cat series?

Acc. to Rich Johnston the scripts for Target are now done. Art to be done by a Kubert, I think.

I read a rumor online somewhere (Lying in the Gutter?) that Smith was going to get the ongoing Daredevil title. And they are relaunching it with a new #1.

That was on Comic Book Resources (and possibly other places) which also had BMB's denial, along with a 'see my panel on Saturday to hear how that rumour got started' comment. Smith has also said that Marvel had better not solicit anything from him anymore unless they have the finished product in their hands.

If that sort of thing upsets you then I'm not sure what you're doing reading superhero comics at all.

You have a very dim view of superhero comics if you think that only unoriginal mediocrity exists in the genre.

What a frickin' joke. That's just plain sad. It's one thing if you're SICK and can't make your deadlines... but if you completely drop the ball because you want to work on some other project, that's just not excusable. And even the artist had to bail? I'd be fuming if I was the artist. Nice high-profile project and then kaput!
