T-bolts new writer?

Just read that FabNic's replacement is going to be John Arcudi. Interesting. He's doing a pretty good job on the new (and weird in a new way) Doom Patrol over at DC, which I already sub to.

Could I stay subbed to T-bolts after a 3rd writer change? It's almost unheard of!! I wonder who the artist will be, and just what the 'new direction' might amount to. There is potential here, as Arcudi is good with team inter-dynamics.

I tried Doom Patrol out for a few issues, and there's something about it that seemed so empty to me, and after I read an issue, I felt unfulfilled for some reason. Maybe it was due to the art being so flashy that there were only 4 panels per page.

A comic that's hitting 75 issues and has gone through 2 writers and 2 artists (maybe 3) is a damn good run for a comic these days. Most books your lucky to get 12 issues with the same creative team.

Good point, as was the previous one about 2 changes in 75 issues being kinda amazing. I put it up to the solidity of the basic concept: Busiek came up with a doozy, FabNic riffed on it with creative care (his issue of Nomad killing Zemo was as good as anything Busiek did), and now .... uhm, ghosts and demons come out of the woodwork? The redemption angel becomes religious? Just guessing, based on my brief experience with Arcudi.

This title is the real replacement for my Defenders nostalgia, I think. Except using villains rather then heroes.
