When did Tangled Web go from being a good offshoot of the Spider-Man books to the cartoony stupid pap it's been for the last year? Remember the first 10 issues? What the hell happened to this book?

Zeb Wells got in. I'm giving him one more issue of PPSM before I drop the book completely. The horrible art isn't helping matters either.

The problem is that first, they got Humberto Ramos. I loved the guy on Impulse, but he is totally wrong for Spider-Man.

The second problem is that they got a Humberto Ramos clone for that Zeb Wels story in 51.

You make it sound like Wells is taking over? Is that true? What's happening to Jenkins?

Dude, we're talking Tangled Web, as the header would suggest. As for PP, I'm extraordinarily unmpressed with Jenkins writing on that title. As far as I'm concerned Amazing is the only good Spidey book left.

Whatever happened, they're fixing it the good ol' fashioned way: it's getting cancelled with #22.
