How about Thanos getting an implant that allows him to use more than one body, then he can duplicate various Marvel Characters in his own image but each duplicate would have the power that Marvel Character has, eventually combining all of the duplicates with himself to create a new Thanos that has his original powers plus the duplicates powers!
