Newsarama is reporting that the foil-cover, directors cut of Fantastic Four #500 has been delayed due to printing errors, and will not be available tomorrow as previously scheduled. Instead, the foil-cover directors cut will be available on July 23rd, however, the standard edition of the much anticipated conclusion to Mark Waid s Unthinkable story-arc will be available tomorrow as planned. Marvel raised eyebrows when it initially announced the foil-cover edition, drawing comparisons to the practice from the 1990s, which helped fuel the comic speculation market. The speculation market lead to Marvel s bankruptcy and the near collapse of the industry when the industry was left holding the bag on millions of comics it could no longer sell.
