The cross-over, Avengers Standoff, starts in Thor and then continues over into Iron Man and the Avengers. All three parts of the story will be out in January, IIRC.

You know, you might be onto something there. It's too late to save Genosha, but there's still a root cause to be addressed: Charles Xavier's gone evil or generated an evil doppelganger at least three times. (Cassandra Nova, Onslaught, and 'Dark Xavier' from way back in the Micronauts/X-Men crossover.) Any responsible ruler of Earth would at least quarantine the man. In fact, I think the Shi'ar Empire just did.
